Object Reservoir Inc. has announced the commencement of a collaborative exploitation project (CEP) for the Northeast Pennsylvania Marcellus shale.
Current participants are East Resources, EOG Resources, EXCO Resources (with JV partner BG Group) and Ultra Resources. The project will remain open to subscription for other NE Pennsylvania Marcellus operators for a limited time.
Object Reservoir’s previous multi-company initiatives include CEPs for the Haynesville and Montney shales. The company plans continuing collaborative and proprietary projects for these and other shale plays. The objectives of the CEPs are to collaboratively refine best practices for shale well stimulation and spacing, and to advance the state of knowledge of these shale plays for optimal exploitation and monetization of operators’ assets.
